Duties include conducting assessments, creating academic goals and intervention strategies, documenting sessions and student progress, collaborating with team members, participating in IEP meetings, and ongoing professional developmental training. Credentials required: Masters in Special Education/NYS Teacher Certification and/or Bilingual certification.
Speech And Language Pathologist
Responsibilities include: Work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and/or swallowing disorders in children. Credentials required: Masters in Speech and Language Pathology, ASHA Certified, Bilingual certification.
Responsibilities include: Therapists help children to improve, regain, and develop the skills needed for day to day life. They meet the patient's goals and needs and provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results and determining occupational therapy treatment plans. Credentials required: Masters in Occupational Therapy, NYS license as an Occupational Therapist.
BCBA- (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)
Responsibilities includes: The job requires the study of the behavior of children and to create plans to improve or decrease problematic behaviors. Our BCBA’s provide supervision to the paraprofessionals working with the children, conduct assessments, provide parent training, design behavior plans and interventions based on data analysis and testing. The primary function of the Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) is to meet the needs of clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and/or other behavioral and social/communication challenges. Credentials required: Certification of BCBA and license of NYS LBA, two plus years of working with children using the ABA approach, strong written and communication skills, experienced with using the VB-MAPP and Vineland testing materials, Bilingual.
RBT- (Registered Behavior Technician)
Responsibilities includes: The role of the ABA Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is to provide home and community based ABA services to clients. This includes the implementation of a treatment plan developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) addressing communication, behavior, feeding, ADLs and social skills in addition to collecting data about students' behaviors through direct observation. Assisting BCBAs as directed with behavior reduction assessments and skill acquisition plans. Teaching students the specific behavior skills called for in treatment plan Credentials required: High School Diploma
Mental Health Professional
Responsibilities includes: Work with students dealing with stress from school, social pressures, and/or family life to improve their classroom performance and overall wellness. Developing and implement an all-encompassing educational and counseling plan. Credentials required: Masters or Doctorate in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology, NYS license as a LCSW, LMHC, or Psychologist, Bilingual Certification preferred.
